Hi there! As the Director of Old Coast Pickleball Club, I’m thrilled to welcome you to our vibrant community. I'm a Navy veteran with over 20 years of experience teaching and coaching on sports fields and in classrooms. I have a wonderful wife named Jessica and amazing son named Jonah.

Will Owens

I began playing tennis in high school and quickly became immersed in the sport, both through playing and competing. When Covid hit, I had to give up tennis due to online schooling. In search of a new outlet, I discovered pickleball and instantly fell in love with the game. I've been playing pickleball since I was seventeen, and I'm about to turn 21 this month. Not only do I love playing, but I also have a passion for teaching. There's something truly special about helping players improve their game and being a part of their growth.

After being in the tennis world and leaving North Carolina as a top 10 doubles player and a USTA Instructor, I took up pickleball in 2019. I enjoyed playing so much that I decided to become certified as a PPR Instructor as well. I love the game and hope to share that love and joy with others through clinics, lessons, and casual conversations. As an OCP Teaching Pro, we welcome players of all skill levels and are eager to help them whenever and wherever we can.

What is this?

A round-robin is a tournament format where each player or team plays against every other participant an equal number of times. "Rated" implies players are matched according to skill levels. Offers a consistent, organized play structure on a daily basis. Good for those seeking regular, evenly matched competition.
